Q- Can you tell me about reserving the rooms at the hotel? Do we have to stay at
the host hotel?
A- obviously no one can force you to stay at any one particular hotel. But it is
in everyone's best interest to stay at the RIO Suite Hotel & Casino. By selling
out the hotel, the meeting is able to keep the tuition as low as possible. And by
staying at the host hotel, you will be in the middle of the action. If you want
to take a break and relax in the room, it’s a short elevator ride up.
The group discount rate for the meeting is $189. Please call to reserve your room
as we have a limited amount of rooms and the cutoff date to receive the discounted
rate is March 17th. Call 1-888-746-6955 and reference the Townie Meeting Group Code:
SPTOWN8.

Q – My spouse/guest is only interested in attending the social activities, how much
would this cost?
A- Actually this year we are offering a “Social Fee” rate. This would allow your
spouse or guest access to the Wine & Cheese reception, the Opening Party at the
Voodoo Lounge AND the Exhibitor Happy Hour. The cost is $199.
Q – Will my liver hurt after the meeting?
A – Yes. Complimentary beer and wine will be provided during the evening social
events and the closing luncheon. This is included in the tuition for the meeting.

Q- How do I get my CE credits?
Townie Meeting will only report credits to the AGD. The Credits take about 6 weeks
from the AGD office receives them to post to the AGD website. When you have completed
your classes and CE sheet, keep the yellow copy and turn in the white copy to the
registration desk or fax in after the meeting. This will act as your CE Completion
Certificate and can be sent to your local and state boards as proof of attendance
and CE completion.
